Shockingly, I have not updated this blog in over a year! This is bad form on my behalf, and I am hoping to get back to updating it more regularly again. First things first though-it needs a good spring clean! So, I shall get on with that and then we should be back in business! If you're still following me after all this time-I apologise for just dropping off the radar like that, forgive me?

I have been shocking at updating this blog recently, so I apologise! Things have been pretty stressful recently, but hopefully they're calming down and I'll be about more. I'm itching to make more jewellery now I have a bit more time, and will be starting with a commission for my cousin once all the components have arrived.
The big news is that my very kind parents have offered to buy me my own hallmark for my birthday, so I got the forms printed yesterday and when I get a moment will go through them so they can be sent off. Very excited about this as I hate having to weigh every little bit of silver to make sure I don't have more than 7.78grams per necklace!

I've have been a bit rubbish at updating my blog lately, so sorry! I've just listed two new items on my etsy, finally having a productive day :D
This one is made purely from ceramic beads and strung on a leather cord, which has been finished with sterling silver:
And this one which is stung on a gorgeous ribbon from Diane of SowZerE DesignS and teamed with a lampwork bead by Annelyse Taylor, a hammered silver ring by Dragonfly Lynne and a mixture of gemstones:
I have a a good few more I really need to finish off over the next few days, so hopefully there will be another update soon!

Finally a new necklace from me. My health has been pretty poor the last few weeks and I've been too sore to sleep, which has left me pretty clumsy and not safe to be around breakable glass beads and pliers ^^; However, I'm having some physio so fingers crossed I'll feel a bit better soon and manage to make stuff a bit more regularly from now on.
Necklace features some yummy etched lampwork beads from Kate of Sublime Beads and various different greek ceramic beads, and is finished with sterling silver.

I actually make a necklace this morning *rejoices* Made a simple pendant on two strands of hand dyed silk ribbon bought from SowZerE, and a focal bead by Diane Cook. The colours seemed to go so perfectly that I couldn't resist. Relatives are visiting tomorrow, but over the next couple of days I'm hoping to have a chance to finsh off a couple of peices using ceramics, so those should be up shortly too :)

Not dead I promise
Just a quick update to apologise for being MIA for so long. Had a very icky virus which laid me up for a bit, and my health is a bit bad in general atm, BUT I'm starting to feel more alive now, and the leather cord and a few other bits I was waiting on to finish some items arrived this morning, so hopefully normal service shall resume shortly!

My boxes arrived today, FINALLY! I can't help but laugh, it's taken them just under a month to get here, and in that time I've made many more pieces, and so really need to place another order...Let's just hope things run a bit more to schedule this time shall we XD
I've bought two scrummy bead sets over the past couple of days, and am already making plans for what I'd like to do with them even though they're not in my hands yet. I've also been working on a couple of ceramic only pieces, and have been really enjoying it. Will definitely be ordering somemore ceramics when I can afford it, as they're an attractive but cheaper option for when times are a bit tight.
In totally unrelated news, I have an appointment with a Physiotherapist today to see if he can do anything to try and ease my muscle pain, so fingers crossed we get somewhere.
